CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1, AND 2, AUGMENTED INSPECTION TEAM PUBLIC EXIT MEETING
Dear Mr. Jamil:
This refers to the meeting conducted at the Rock Hill Town Meeting Chamber in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on May 31, 2006. This meeting was conducted to present the findings of the Augmented Inspection Team that inspected the loss-of-offsite-power event on May 20, 2006. A list of attendees and a copy of the handout are enclosed.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that during the meeting, the NRC presented the overall conclusions of the team inspection to you and members of your staff. After the conclusion of the exit meeting, the NRC representatives answered questions from the public related to the event.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
