Unit I Docket No. STN 50-528 Unit 1, Cycle 13 Startup Report - Supplement I As committed to in Arizona Public Service Company (APS) letter 102-05446-SABITNW/JAP, dated March 17, 2006, APS is providing this supplement to the PVNGS Unit 1, Cycle 13, startup report.
APS' letter dated March 17, 2006, stated that power ascension was stopped at 32%
power, due equipment vibration problems. The unit subsequently entered a maintenance outage to resolve the vibration issue and as a result, testing at the 70%
and 100% plateaus remains to be completed. Testing will recommence after the unit is restarted.
APS will provide a supplemental report within 90 days following completion of the startup testing program or 90 days from the issuance of this letter, whichever is earlier, unless the reporting requirement is revised.
