The purpose of this;,letter 1jk;9 request to be added to the distribution lists for NRC correspondence related to Oconee Units 1, 2 &3(Doc'kets 50-269, 50-270 & 50-287).
The reason for-the request is'to-ofifntoi the meeting notices and summaries, the documentation of telephone dis cussions; and other correspondence, such as audit and inspection reports, that is related to the Oconee units, particularly with respect to the licensing activities associated with the application to convert the reactor protection system and engineered safety featurqs systems from analog to digital instrumentation anda control systems'. These activities; a re cla imed by Duke Power Company to be pioneering efforts and thus the precedents set by Oconee may affect simila activities that are planned by Westinghouse for its' customers.
