Duke Power Company, LLC d/b/a Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414 Retransmitting - 2004 Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report On April 28, 2005, Catawba Nuclear Station submitted its 2004 Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report to the NRC pursuant Technical Specification (TS) 5.6.3 and Selected Licensee Commitment 16.11-16 for the period of January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004. That submittal also included the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (OCDM) in accordance with TS 5.5.1.

During a recent telephone conversation with Mr. John Stang of your staff, Catawba was informed that only a portion of the contents of the 2004 Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report resides in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).

Therefore, the entire 2004 report is being retransmitted under this cover, as follows, and should be placed in ADAMS:
