2/22/06 11:38AM Preliminary 2/7 H-3 results Hello Jim and Don, Attached is an Excel file with the first of the State's preliminary H-3 results from the 2/7 splits.
I compared them to the #s Kathleen sent in her update and was pleasantly surprised at just how well they agreed.
The only significant difference was for MW-30.
John Frisone, our person there for the sampling, explained that GZA collected that particular sample and did it by consecutively filling the three containers from the well sampling pump output tube. Not a true split sample.
The rest of the samples were collected as splits by first filling a single larger container and then filling the three sample containers from that. This appears to explain the difference in precision of results between MW-1l1 and the other sample points.
I will provide the other data as soon as I get it from Wadsworth. If you need to report our results, please preface it with the explanation that the data has not gone through the labs full QA process yet and the final results may vary somewhat from these preliminary values.
