Tritium Investigation NRC, DEC and Entergy Take Split Samples Split samples were taken by Nuclear Regulatory Commission, New York State DEC, and Entergy this week. Samples were obtained from the Hudson River, phase 1 monitoring wells and off-site locations. The phase 1 wells are located near the IP2 spent fuel building, transformer yard and discharge canal.
Text Box: Representatives from NRC, DEC and Entergy examine split samples from the Hudson River.Drilling is completed on the last phase 1 well, MW-37, located in the IP2 turbine building.
Hydrologists are examining possible new locations for two wells near Unit 1, since the drillers encountered interference with pipes and service lines in the current locations.
Entergy Awards First Round of Power Hope Grants More than 2,500 of 3,600 first-round Power of Hope applicants were awarded grants totaling more than
