Jh White - I PEC status report for Jan. 12 Page 2 i January 12, 2006 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been online 21 days.
Indian Point Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 100 days. Indian Point Energy Center ended 2005 with over 12,000,000 person-hours worked with a day away from work accident.
Entergy Receives Emergency Response Award Entergy has been awarded the Edison Electric Institute's Emergency Response Award for outstanding efforts to restore power following Tropical Storm Cindy and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Entergy also received the Edison Electric Institute's Emergency Assistance Award for its efforts to help Florida Power &
Light restore power following Hurricane Wilma.
This is tie eighth consecutive year Entergy has received an emergency award from EEI and the first time the company has won both awards in the same year. Entergy is the only utility in the nation to win either EEl's Emergency Assistance Award or Emergency Response Award every year they have been offered by the association.
The EEI Emergency Response Award recognizes member companies that put forth outstanding efforts to restore iservice promptly to the public following a natural disaster.
