I Daily Status Report December 27, 2005 IP2 Returned to Service Indian Point Unit 2 returned to service on Friday, December 23 after repair crews fixed a packing leak on a valve that controls flow to one of the unit's four steam generators. The unit was off-line for about a day to repair the flow control valve.
Indian Point Unit 2 was on-line for 383 days before the shutdown.
Indian Point 3 remains operating at full power.
