ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF REQUEST FOR RELIEF FOR THE HADDAM NECK PLANT(TAC NO. L60600)
Dear van Noordennen:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your application for relief from 10 CFR 50.70(b)(1) dated March 10, 2006, for the Haddam Neck Plant. Section 50.70(b) requires office space be provided for the use of NRC inspection staff. We have completed the initial processing, which is an administrative review, and have accepted your application for a more detailed technical review. The more detailed technical review may identify omissions in the submitted information or technical issues that require additional information. These will be forwarded to you under separate cover in the future. The staff expects to complete its review by April 10, 2006.
