- MEETING CATEGORY 1 - ANNUAL ASSESSMENT - WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-390 AND 50-391
Dear Mr. Singer:
This letter confirms the conversation with Mr. Paul Pace of your staff and Mr. Jonathan Bartley of this office on March 15, 2006, concerning a Category 1 Public Meeting scheduled for April 4, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Watts Bar facility. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). The NRCs Policy Statement, Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, effective May 28, 2002, applies to this meeting. The policy statement may be found on the NRC Web site, www.nrc.gov and contains information regarding visitors and security.
