OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION - CORRECTION TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RE: REACTOR WATER CLEAN-UP HIGH ENERGY LINE BREAK DETECTION AND ISOLATION LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. MC6046)
Dear Mr. Crane:
By letter dated February 2, 2005, AmerGen Energy Company, LLC submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (Oyster Creek).
The LAR requested to revise the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications to incorporate the isolation trip setting and the instrumentation surveillance requirements of the reactor water cleanup high energy line break detection and isolation equipment.
By letter dated March 9, 2006, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a request for additional information regarding the aforementioned LAR. Subsequently, it was identified that the letter contained an error. Specifically, the date that the information was discussed with Mr. David Robillard of your staff was March 9, 2006, not February 9, 2006 as written.
Additionally, the subject line incorrectly referred to a different license amendment request.
Instead, it should have been in reference to the reactor water clean-up high energy line break detection and isolation license amendment request. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
