Purpose:

The NRC requested an Annual Assessment Meeting with Entergy to discuss the NRCs assessment of the safety performance of the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Units for the calendar year 2005. The NRCs assessment is documented in a letter dated March 2, 2006.

Representatives from the NRC and Entergy will provide short presentations on the subject, and following the business portion of the meeting, the NRC will address questions from the public.

The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
