BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT 1, AND DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 1 - CORRECTION TO CONFORMING AMENDMENTS DATED DECEMBER 16, 2005
Dear Mr. Leidich:
On November 15, 2005, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an Order approving the transfers of the facility operating licenses held by Pennsylvania Power Company, Ohio Edison Company, OES Nuclear, Inc., the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, and the Toledo Edison Company, to FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corporation, for Beaver Valley Power Station, Units 1 and 2 (Beaver Valley), Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 (Perry), and Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 (Davis-Besse). The Order also approved conforming amendments to each of the licenses. Thereafter, on December 16, 2005, the NRC issued the conforming amendments following the consummation of the direct license transfers.
Due to an administrative oversight, the NRC staff did not exercise proper signature authority when issuing the conforming amendment. Therefore, the staff is reissuing the enclosed amendment pages for Amendments Nos. 269 and 151 for Beaver Valley, Amendment No. 270 for Davis-Besse, and Amendment No. 137 for Perry.
