HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION - AMENDMENT NO. 163
Dear Mr. Gallagher:
On February 8, 2006, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued License Amendment No. 163 to the Hope Creek Generating Station (Hope Creek) related to the implementation of the Average Power Range Monitor, Rod Block Monitor Technical Specification/Maximum Extended Load Line Limit Analysis (ARTS/MELLLA). The NRC sent you a copy of this amendment package because you have asked to be included on distribution for public documents related to Hope Creek.
Unfortunately, the Safety Evaluation (SE) that was sent to you as part of the amendment package contains information that is proprietary to General Electric Nuclear Energy. This information was not properly redacted from the publicly-available version of the SE.
Please destroy the Hope Creek ARTS/MELLLA license amendment package that you received, including any copies you may have made. Also, please send me an e-mail at snb@nrc.gov or call me at (301) 415-1321 to confirm that you have destroyed the document. The NRC is in the process of issuing you a new copy of the amendment package with the proprietary information redacted.
