Duke Energy Corporation Oconee Nuclear Station Units 1, 2 and 3 Docket Nos:
50-269, 270 and 287 Response To Questionnaire Associated With Licensed Operator Positive Alcohol Test On October 6, 2005, Duke Energy (Duke) reported that a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licensed operator tested positive for alcohol following a fitness-for-duty test performed on that same day.
On October 18, 2005, Duke received a letter from the Staff providing a questionnaire associated with this positive alcohol test.
The attached enclosure provides Duke's response to the inquiries contained in the aforementioned questionnaire as well as information regarding the operator meeting general health requirements.
The attached enclosure contains personal information and is exempt from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
