Description:
During excavation of Unit 2 Fuel Storage Building loading bay area in support of the dry cask storage project, a hole opened up in the soil beneath the east loading bay cinder-block wall. This does NOT effect the integrity of the spent fuel pool, which is a separate structure. The cinder-block wall remains structurally sound because it is supported by coulmn-to-column beams.
