Dear Mr. Jamil:

This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Keller of your staff and Mr. Carroll of this office on October 26, 2005 concerning a Category 1 Catawba service water project update meeting which has been scheduled for December 7, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. The meeting notice, which provides additional details is enclosed. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the service water project, and is being conducted at your request.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
