Our Office administrator, Dorothy Guzzo, has received a letter from Pao-Tsin Kuo inviting us to join you at the November 1 st, 2005 public scoping meeting in Toms River, NJ for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station license renewal. As noted in the letter, Ms. Guzzo responded on October 15th, 2004 that the project re-licensing will not impact historic and archaeological properties. Therefore, we will not consult further at this time.
We are aware that limited off-site new activities may potentially become part of the project, and that there may be modification to on-site facilities as well. If project activities beyond re-licensing do occur, we look further to further consultation under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
