WriteRep Responses In regards to the Palo Verde shut down.
I live in the west valley (Glendale). I am concerned with the recent shut down, if you would answer a few questions it may set my mind at ease.
what caused the 2 reactor shut down?
Are the NRC overreacting?
How long until the plant comes back online? (are we talking about months or years)
Are employees being paid durinn shut down?
was it a break down in the cooling system, a flaw in design, or another problem that caused the shut down?
Why did the NRC wait until now?
What is the mood among the management at the plant (flustered, peeved, worried, other)?
Why the lack of info to the public?
--Thanks Dan Frenette Email sslls@aol.com
