50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - PRELIMINARY REACTOR OPERATOR LICENSE (RO) APPLICATION WITH WAIVER In a letter, dated July 7, 2005, which scheduled the SRO and RO initial license examinations for BFN during the weeks of October 17, and 24, 2005, NRC requested that preliminary application information be submitted at least 30 days before the first examination date which is October 17, 2005.
In a letter dated September 12, 2005, TVA provided the requested information to NRC. However, due to a recent motorcycle accident, TVA requests a waiver for Mr. Tron D. Gilpin who will be medically restricted from performing the Operational portion of the initial examination. When Mr. Gilpin is medically approved by a TVA physician, TVA will request for the Operational portion of the initial examination to be administered by NRC.
