Dear Sir,
Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), 320 East North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, is renewing Special Nuclear Materials license, SNM-1484, Program Code 22160. There are no changes to the license except updating the number of pacemakers.
AGH is currently tracking two (2) pacemakers implanted into patients and will no longer receive or implant nuclear pacemakers. When pacemakers are explanted, AGH will recover them and ship them to the manufacturer for proper disposal.
