Subject:

Monthly Operating Report Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 (Waterford 3)

Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38

Dear Sir or Madam:

Attached is the subject report which covers the operating statistics for the month of May 2005. This report is submitted per Section 6.9.1.6 of the Waterford 3 Technical Specifications for Facility Operating License No. NPF-38. Please note that beginning in February 2005, Gross Electrical Energy Generated values on line 10 of the report are estimated values. Estimated values are being reported due to watt-meter failures on the Main Generator and the in-house load buses. Net generation was able to be determined by measuring current flows in the off-site switchyard.

Should you have any questions regarding the above, please contact R. J. Pollock at (504) 739-6561.

There are no new commitments contained in this submittal.

Sincerely, R.J. Murillo Acting Licensing Manager RJM/RJP/stf Attachment(s)
