SUMMARY

OF APRIL 26, 2005, MEETING WITH DOMINION NUCLEAR CONNECTICUT, INC. AND VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY TO DISCUSS CURRENT LICENSING ISSUES On April 26, 2005, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. and Virginia Electric and Power Company (the licensee) at NRC Headquarters, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the status of licensing actions that are under NRC staff review and exchange information on the quality of licensing submittals. A list of attendees is provided as Enclosure 1.

The licensee presented prioritized lists of licensing actions for North Anna, Surry, and Millstone.

Refer to Enclosures 2 and 3. The licensee and the NRC staff discussed the status of licensing actions that were under NRC staff review and whether the NRC staff could support the licensees expected completion dates. The licensee and the NRC staff addressed the continuation of cross-regional submittals, including the NRC staffs expectations on the quality of these submittals.
