REQUEST FOR PUBLICATION IN BIWEEKLY FR NOTICE -
NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE (TAC NOS. MC4926 AND MC4927)
Nuclear Management Company, LLC, Docket Nos. 50-266 and 50-301, Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, Town of Two Creeks, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin Date of application for amendments: October 15, 2004 Brief description of amendments: The amendments revised Technical Specifications related to the reactor coolant pump flywheel inspection program by increasing the inspection interval to 20 years.
Date of issuance: June 6, 2005 Effective date: As of the date of issuance and shall be implemented within 45 days.
Amendment Nos.: 218,223 Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27: Amendments revised the Technical Specifications.
Date of initial notice in Federal Register: March 29, 2005 (70 FR 15945).
The Commission's related evaluation of the amendments is contained in a Safety Evaluation dated June 6, 2005.
No significant hazards consideration comments received: No.
