Salem Generating Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 License Change Request S05-01 Request for Change to Technical Specifications Emergency Core Cooling Systems Tavg <350 Degrees F PSEG Nuclear LLC submitted the proposed change to the Salem Technical Specifications by letter; to the NRC dated February 10, 2005. The proposed amendment modifies'the Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS), ECCS Subsystems Tavg <350 degrees F Surveillance Requirement 4.5.3.2.b by increasing the flexibility of operating a safety injection pump provided it is isolated from the reactor coolant system.
