WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST TO USE THE ROTATING PANCAKE COIL PROBE FOR PARTIAL-LENGTH STEAM GENERATOR TUBE INSPECTIONS (TAC NOS. MC6493 AND MC6494)
Dear Mr. Grissette:
By letter dated March 21, 2005, you applied for an amendment to the Facility Operating License Nos. NFP -68 and NFP-81 for the Vogtle Electric Generating Station, Units 1 and 2. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications (TSs) pertaining to TS Section 5.5.9.d.1.f and h, and add Table 5.5.9-3, Steam Generator Tube Inspection H*
Depths, to allow partial-length steam generator tube joint inspection using the rotating pancake coil probe.
Subsequently, by letter dated April 18, 2005, you withdrew your request to amend the licenses and requested we return the proprietary information provided in the submittal. This closes TAC Nos. MC6493 and MC6494.
