On March 21, 2005, Southern Nuclear Operating Company submitted a request to revise the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Unit I and Unit 2 Technical Specifications to allow partial-length steam generator (SG) tube joint inspection using the rotating pancake coil probe, e.g., +Point probe. This submittal included proprietary information.
As a result of a conference call between SNC representatives, Westinghouse, and the NRC staff on April 14, 2005, SNC is withdrawing the request. Please return, to SNC, the proprietary information provided in the submittal.
Mr. D. E. Grissette states he is a Vice President of Southern Nuclear Operating Company, is authorized to execute this oath on behalf of Southem Nuclear Operating Company and to the best of his knowledge and belief, the facts set forth in this letter are true.
