Purpose of Todays Meeting A public forum for discussion of Harris performance NRC will address Harris performance issues identified in the annual assessment letter Harris management will be given the opportunity to respond to the information in the letter and inform the NRC of new or existing programs to maintain or improve their performance

Harris CY2004 Assessment Results Performance was within the Regulatory Response Column of the NRCs Action Matrix in the first quarter Performance was within the Licensee Response Column for the last three quarters All inspection findings were classified as very low safety significance (Green)

One performance indicator was White in the first quarter

  • Unplanned Scrams PI crossed Green/White threshold in June 2003
  • Supplemental inspection conducted in September 2003 determined corrective action to be satisfactory and no commonality to the events
