- CATEGORY ONE MANAGEMENT MEETING -
TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-250 AND 50-251
Dear Mr. Stall:
This refers to the meeting conducted at your request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia on April 18, 2005. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the results of Florida Power and Lights evaluation of plant challenges, secondary equipment maintenance issues, and performance improvement initiatives relating to cross-cutting aspects at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant. Enclosed are a list of attendees and the presentation handouts.
The discussions focused on the following topics: Nuclear Fleet Strategic Plan, Turkey Point 2005 Measures of Performance, Turkey Point Organizational and Equipment Improvements, Turkey Point Corrective Action Program, Turkey Point NRC Performance Indicators, Turkey Point Forced Capacity Loss Common Cause Assessment, and Turkey Point Challenges. The meeting was informative and did not result in any specific action items or decisions.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
