April 13, 2005 Mr. Christopher M. Crane, President and Chief Nuclear Officer Exelon Generation Company, LLC 4300 Winfield Road Warrenville, IL 60555

SUBJECT:

QUAD CITIES NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - CORRECTION TO ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS (TAC NOS. MC3413 AND MC3414)

Dear Mr. Crane:

On March 15, 2005, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Commission) issued Amendment No.

224 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-29 and Amendment No. 219 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-30 for the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2, respectively.

The amendments revised the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated June 10, 2004, as supplemented by letters dated July 19 and July 21, 2004, and January 21, 2005.

Based on discussions between your staff and the Commission staff on April 1, 2005, we are reissuing a corrected copy of TS page 3.3.6.1-5 to reflect previous changes made to this page per Amendment Nos. 219 and 213 issued on February 18, 2004. The TS page markup submitted on June 10, 2004, that was used for Amendment Nos. 224 and 219 did not have the previously approved changes made to the Main Steam Line Pressure-Low allowable value. The enclosed TS page 3.3.6.1-5 corrects this allowable value to be "> 791 psig" as previously reviewed and approved.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely,

/RA/

Lawrence Rossbach, Project Manager, Section 2 Project Directorate III Division of Licensing Project Management Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Docket Nos. 50-254 and 50-265
