SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE February 2005 The unit began the month at 100% reactor power.

On 02/28/2005 at 2200 the unit commenced a power reduction in preparation to take the unit off line in order to repair a steam leak on 11 Moisture Separator Reheater Drain Tank vent line. At the end of the month the unit was at approximately 30% power while continuing the power reduction.

1 On 02/22/2005 a reduction in power was commenced in preparation for the scheduled refueling outage. The refueling outage commenced at 2058 02/22/2005 when the unit was removed from the grid.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE February 2005 The unit began the month at 100% reactor power.

On 02/04/2005 at 0630 commenced PSTP-10, end of fuel cycle coastdown.

On 02/17/2005 at 0600 power was reduced to 95% for Main Steam Safety Valve Testing. Testing was completed at 1500. Power was raised to 95% per PSTP-10 at 1830.

On 02/22/2005 at 1900 a reduction in power was commenced in preparation for the scheduled refueling outage. The unit was removed from the grid on 02/22/2005 at 2058.

The following significant work was completed or in progress during the month:

Reactor vessel head was removed.

CEA uncoupling was completed.

Upper Guide Structure was removed.

The reactor entered mode 6 on 02/25/2005 at 2212. The unit remained in mode 6 for the remainder for the month.
