SUMMARY

The unit began the month at full power and was taken off line on February 5th to rework a failed 13.8 kV breaker. Several problems emerged and delayed start-up while the problems were resolved including a RCP I B oil seal leak, a mechanical problem on a containment isolation valve for SG blowdown, and a problem with the reactor tip switchgear breaker A. In addition a security hold due to a non-credible security threat contributed to the outage time. On February 19th the unit was taken critical at 4:52 AM and synchronized to the grid at 5:53 PM. The unit reached full power on February 21 st and continued operating at full power through the end of the month.
