2 Plant shutdown caused by unidentified drywell leakage above Technical Specification limit. Inspection identified Drywell Cooler unit Number 4 failed end-bell gasket as the source of the leak. Shutdown continued into February 2005.
SUMMARY
The plant operated at full power until shutdown on January 24, 2005 at 1619 hours0.0187 days
0.45 hours
0.00268 weeks
6.160295e-4 months
.
At 2054 hours0.0238 days
0.571 hours
0.0034 weeks
7.81547e-4 months
, drywell leakage identified as Emergency Equipment Cooling Water was isolated. At 2228 hours0.0258 days
0.619 hours
0.00368 weeks
8.47754e-4 months
, the Alert declaration was terminated based on source of leakage was not from the Reactor Coolant System. The leak was determined to be caused by a failed end-bell gasket on the Number 4 Drywell Cooler. A root cause team was established to review extent of condition and specify repair actions.
On January 25, 2005 plant shutdown was completed at 1321 hours0.0153 days
0.367 hours
0.00218 weeks
5.026405e-4 months
, and continued into February 2005.
