- Cyndi, This e-mail is to serve as note to file for the 120 day OC retake that this exam will be a final revision 9, although, the letter incorrectly included the word "pilot" (typo). We will place a copy of this note in the master file with the 120 day letter to correct the record.

let me clarify, the register notice late August early Sept (not sure of date) says Rev. 9 is effective 6 months from the date of the federal register notice. All 120 day letters with exam in the effective date, which is BV and beyond (late Feb. early March) must have Final Rev. 9 in the letter. For exam until then, the licensees have the option for Rev.8 Suppl 1, or Rev. 9 Jan 2003 or final rev. 9 as reflected in 120 letters..
Cyndy can you get the FRN with it's date of issue or do we have it in package sent from Fred.
Distirbute FRN to all examiners and especially Chiefs.

My understanding is that if we send out a 120 day letter after final rev 9 hit the street then we hold to fianl rev. 9.

I thought the final Rev. 9 wasn't supposed to go into effect until March 2005.

- Rich, I have a minor error in my 120 day letter. I included the word "pilot" Revision 9 of NUREG 1021. I discussed it already early this week with Jesse and told him that we would use final Revision 9. Should we: 1) issue a formal revision to the letter or 2) just correct it by hand and put a note corrected per telecom in the record ADAMS copy or 3) do nothing?
Cyndi, Please delete the word "pilot" from our form 120 exam letter since all 120 exam letters henceforth should be the final revision 9.
