VERMONT YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION - CORRECTION TO LICENSE AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION BASES (TAC NO. MC5658)
Dear Mr. Kansler:
By letter dated January 17, 2005, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (the licensee), submitted a request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for corrections to page 7 of the Facility Operating License, DPR-28, and page 97 of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VYNPS) Technical Specification (TS) Bases. The administrative correction to page 7 of the license revises the date "12/I/86" to be "12/1/86" and restores the historical record of the previous amendments to this page in the lower right corner. These errors were inadvertently introduced during retyping of page 7 and issued by the NRCs letter dated October 28, 2004.
The correction to page 97 of the VYNPS TS Bases restores a revision to the page which was inadvertently omitted when revised pages were submitted for Amendment 219 to Appendix A of the Facility Operating License, the TSs. The incorrect page was issued by the NRC as part of Amendment 219 on April 14, 2004. The NRC had previously acknowledged the revision to page 97 by letter dated May 15, 2003.
