Indiana Michigan Power Company 500 Circle Drive Buchanan, Ml 49107 1395 INDIANA MICHIGAN POWER November 15, 2004 AEP:NRC:2691-48 Docket Nos.

50-315 50-316 U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Mail Stop O-P 1-17 Washington, DC 20555-0001 Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT Pursuant to the requirements of Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 and Unit 2 Technical Specification 6.9.1.8, the attached Monthly Operating Report for October 2004 is submitted.

Adjustments were made to the year-to-date and cumulative hours for Reactor Critical, Generator Online, and Megawatt Thermal Generation. These adjustments were made to address differences in accounting methodology due to Daylight Savings Time adjustments. Previous accounting methodology was performed using American Electric Power "system' time, which did not account for Daylight Savings Time.

There are no new commitments associated with this submittal.

Should you have any questions, please contact Mr. Toby K. Woods, Compliance Supervisor, at (269) 466-2798.

Sincerely,

. ensen Site Vice President JEN/jen Attachment
