SUMMARY

Nine Mile Point Unit Two operated with a maximum dependable capacity (MDC) factor of 98.04% and an availability factor of 100% for the month of October,2004. On October 1,2004 at 2000 hours0.0231 days <br />0.556 hours <br />0.00331 weeks <br />7.61e-4 months <br /> operations commenced power reduction for maintenance on "B" feed pump seals. Power was lowered to approximately 55%. After completion of this work, full power was restored on October 5, 2004 at 0542 hours0.00627 days <br />0.151 hours <br />8.96164e-4 weeks <br />2.06231e-4 months <br />. On October 24, 2004 at 1300 hours0.015 days <br />0.361 hours <br />0.00215 weeks <br />4.9465e-4 months <br /> operations commenced power reduction to approx. 82% for a swap of the Steam Jet Air Ejectors (SJAE). After "8" SJAE train was put into service and "A" SJAE train was removed from service, the reactor was returned to full power at 2109 hours0.0244 days <br />0.586 hours <br />0.00349 weeks <br />8.024745e-4 months <br /> on October 24, 2004.
