OF THE OCTOBER 28, 2004, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS LICENSEE PERFORMANCE AND PLANNED ACTIVITIES AS PART OF THE MANUAL CHAPTER 0305 ACTION MATRIX COLUMN 4 PROCESS On October 28, 2004, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the Quail Hollow Resort in Painesville, Ohio. The meeting was between the NRC Region III Management and FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) to discuss licensee performance and planned activities as part of the Manual Chapter 0305 Action Matrix Column 4 process at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. The letter of notification, meeting notice, NRC presentation, and licensee presentation can be found in ADAMS as ML042780120, ML042780126, ML043010358, and ML043090198 respectively. A list of NRC and licensee meeting participants can be found in the attached Enclosure. Agenda topics included an overview of the NRCs Reactor Oversight Process/ Action Matrix, a discussion of the Perry Improvement Initiative (ML042800555), and a discussion of Inspection Procedure 95003.
