SYNOPSIS On November 13, 2002, this investigation was initiated by the United States Nuclear Regulatory rommission (NRC), Office of Investigations (01), Region I (RI), to determine whether a j
~at the Salem Generating Station was discriminated against by Day &
Zimmermnann NPS (DZNPS), the licensee contracted maintenance company, for having raised -
concerns regarding potentially faulty bolts used in support of cable trays.
Based upon the evidence developed during this investigation, OI did not substantiate that the

-ad been discriminated against by DZNPS for having engaged in protected activ ties.
