Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362 Supplemental Response to Order EA-03-086 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 Gentlemen:
Southern California Edison (SCE) consented to the Order Requiring Compliance Wth Revised Design Basis Threat For Operating Power Reactors, EA-03-086, (the
'Order") on June 3, 2003 and submitted revised Security Plans for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) on April 28, 2004 as required by Condition III.A.1 of the Order. The NRC staff has conducted a review of the SONGS Security Plans and has informed SCE of additional review comments that have resulted in Plan changes.
Accordingly, SCE has prepared new revisions to the SONGS Security Plans that incorporate the changes resulting from the staffs review and is enclosing copies (in print and Compact Disk formats) with this letter for the NRC Security Plan Review Team Leader.
Note that the enclosed Security Plans contain safeguards information as defined by 10 CFR § 73.2. This transmittal letter may be decontrolled upon separation from the enclosure.
