Dear Mr. Isaac:

This letter is to inform you of the intent of the University of Missouri-Rolla Nuclear Reactor, License Number R-79, to begin the relicensing application process and to present the relicensing documentation as required. Included within the relicensing packet are the following items presented in order

1) Updated Safety Analysis Report,

2) Financial Qualifications,

3) Environmental Report,

4) Operator Re-qualification Program, and

5) Emergency Plan.

The Technical Specifications are bundled within the Safety Analysis Report Chapter 14, as per NUREG-1537, and thus are not included separately. A copy of the Physical Security Plan was not included as it is not a part of the University of Missouri-Rolla Nuclear Reactor License; however the most recent Physical Security Plan is on file at the NRC.
