FW: Daphnialumholtzi?

Oops. The Baker, 2001 really was an e-mail message and not a telephone message.

I just stumbled upon it.

RE:Daphnialumholtzi?

Kenny, D. lumholtzi has been found throughout the Tennessee River, and at most Vital Signs stations; tributary and mainstem.

It appears to be more prominent in August and September.

You may want to contact Becky Brown. She processed many of the zooplankton samples for Vital Signs. She worked with Dewey Bunting at UTK; or contact Dewey; or the department of zoo at UTC just stop bothering mel Tyler From:

Daphnialumhoitzi?

Importance:

High Hey Tyler, According to the information I've gathered, Daphnia lumholtzi is the only nonindigenous aquatic crustacean recorded in Tennessee.

To the best of your knowledge, has it or any nonindigenous plankton been recorded in Wheeler Reservoir (particularly around Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant)?

Thanks, Kenny Kenny Gardner TVA Heritage Resources P,O. Box 1589
