PALISADES PLANT - WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR RELAXATION REGARDING ORDER EA-03-009 (TAC NO. MC0805)
Dear Mr. Malone:
By letter dated September 18, 2003, you requested approval for relaxation from certain requirements of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Order EA-03-009 for the Palisades Plant, which established interim inspection requirements for reactor pressure vessel heads at pressurized-water reactors. Since that time, the NRC issued First Revised Order EA-03-009 on February 20, 2004, which resolved the concerns stated in the relaxation request.
Subsequently, by letter dated March 8, 2004, you withdrew your September 18, 2003, request.
This withdrawal does not affect your responsibility to comply with all requirements of First Revised Order EA-03-009.
The above request is withdrawn.
