Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362 Request For Additional Information San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 Gentlemen:
Southern California Edison (SCE) submitted a request for changes to the Physical Security Plan (PSP) for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) on April 28, 2004. Subsequently, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Staff has begun a review of the SONGS revised PSP that has resulted in a request for additional information (RAI) by letter from Brian Benney (NRC) to Dwight Nunn (SCE) dated June 24, 2004. The RAI covers the Staffs review of chapters 1 through 9 of the SONGS revised PSP. SCE's response to the RAI is given in the enclosure to this letter.
Note that the enclosure to this letter contain safeguards information as defined by 10 CFR § 73.2. This transmittal letter may be decontrolled upon separation from the enclosure.
