In reference (a), Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC (NMPNS), submitted its revised Physical Security, Safeguards Contingency, and Security Training and Qualification Plan for Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Units I and 2, in response to the April 29, 2003 Orders revising the design basis threat. This letter is in response to reference (b). In reference (b), the NRC staff requested a response to the request for additional information (RAI) within ten working days from the date NMPNS received the letter, which was on July 12, 2004. The enclosure to this letter, classified as Safeguards Information, provides our response to each item listed in the RAI. Should you have any questions on this matter, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
