4 A planned maintenance outage commenced 5/26/04 at 9:20 PM, when the turbine was taken off-line. A reactor scram occurred 5/27/04 at 12:34 AM due to spiking of IRMs while inserting SRMs at approximately 2% power. The purpose of the maintenance outage is to improve equipment reliability and better prepare the station for summer operation. The maintenance outage was still in progress at the end of May. An unplanned outage extension of 1.25 days commenced 6/1/04 at 00:00 hours. The generator was placed on line 06/0212004 at 04:04 hours.

SUMMARY

During June, Oyster Creek generated 413,985 net MWh electric, which was 92.9% of its MDC rating.

An unplanned extension of maintenance outage 1 F06 occurred early in the month. The outage was extended an additional 1.25 days. The generator was put on line 6/2/04 at 04:04 hours.
