Dear Mr. Crane:

We have received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

Region V final exercise report, dated June 14, 2004, for the March 10, 2004 plume exposure pathway exercise at the LaSalle County Station (ADAMS Accession No. ML041820378).

One Area Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) was identified by FEMA Region V staff regarding the performance of LaSalle County responders and one ARCA identified for Grundy County responders. No ARCAs were identified regarding performance of the State of Illinois.

We fully recognize that any corrective actions to be implemented may involve parties and political institutions which are not under your direct control. Nonetheless, we expect that assistance, if appropriate, will be extended.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publically Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www/nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
