- 1.
In the ANO Calculation 86-E-0074-156, weld residual stresses were not considered.
The revised analysis considered the weld residual stresses. Discuss the technical basis for including the residual stresses in the revised analysis and excluding the residual stresses in the previous analysis.
- 2.
Clarify whether the J-groove weld and butter weld were heat treated to relieve residual stresses during ANO-1 reactor vessel head fabrication.
- 3.
How many plants has Framatome performed the same J-groove weld calculations, as performed for the ANO-1 plant?
