50-370 McGuire Emergency Plan, Revision 04-1 Attached to this letter is Revision 04-1 of the McGuire Emergency Plan.
This revision was evaluated pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54 (q).
These changes do not constitute a reduction in the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan and continue to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50.47 (b) and 10 CFR 50 Appendix E. As such, these changes do not require NRC approval prior to implementation.
Duke implemented this revision on March 1, 2004.
A copy is also being sent to the NRC Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards as per 10 CFR 72.44 (f).
Revision bars in each individual Emergency Plan section indicate the changes that were made.
A summary of the changes and bases for this determination is provided as Attachment 1.
There are no new regulatory commitments in this revision.
Two copies of this submittal are being supplied to the Regional Administrator of Region II via this submittal.
