MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - CATEGORY ONE SHEARON HARRIS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT - DOCKET NO. 50-400
Dear Mr. Scarola:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. J. Caves of your staff and Ms. Kathleen ODonohue of my staff on March 16, 2004, concerning a public meeting being conducted at your request, which has been scheduled for April 20, 2004, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update of the status of the Harris fire protection program. The location of the meeting will be the Region II Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia, in Room 24T25. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with the NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings dated May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, 36920-36924).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
